So, I've been inspired by my roommate Daniella to start this work-out blog in order to keep myself reliable and to hold myself to my work-out goals. Working in an office 40-55 hours a week plus doing airport pickups is exhausting, but all the more reason I need to push myself to get physical exercise each day so I can feel good.
Back in Boston, I was waiting tables all the time so even if I didn't have time to work out, I felt good because I was always on my feet. Now that I have a "real" office job, I totally feel like a slug and have zero energy after work. I'm hoping that this blog will help me keep track and get motivated so I can feel better and have more energy to do everything I want to do.
Today I started slow:
- Leg focus
- 3x15 sentadillos - squats (abierto, cerrado y de costado)
- 3x10 arabesques (on each leg)
- 3x20 donkey kick (on each leg)
- Daily Abs/Obliques/Lumbar/Dorsal
- Upper abs crunches: 3x20
- Lower abs: 3x20 piernas agrupados
- Total abs: 3x20
- Obliques: 3x15 agrupado y 3x15 estirado
- Lumbar: 3x15 piernas estiradas
- Dorsal: 3x15
- Total lumbar + dorsal (standing): 3x15
How I felt before workout: Tired, not wanting to work out.
How I felt after workout: Good, but my legs were fatigued. I'm hoping to stick with it since beach season is coming up here in Lima!
