Tuesday
I was hoping to bike to work today, but I had a briefing and didn't want to sweat right before going to do my pick-up at the airport. I ate horribly today and my body definitely felt it. I didn't eat enough, and I ate the wrong things... oh well there's always tomorrow.
Workout:
20 minutes running / 5 minutes running
7-8 minutes stairs (20x)
3x30 crunches
3x20 leg lifts
3x20 hard bicycles
3x8 side leg lifts (standing) R & L
3x30 rainbow stretch overs
Food:
Morning: half apple + peanut butter, mandarina
Afternoon: small bit of cheese, and leftover turkey
Late Afternoon: 2 scoops ice cream
Dinner: potato + mushroom + 2 eggs

Days 7 & 8
Sunday
Lazy day around the apartment. I cleaned, skyped with my mom for a few hours (she just got back from Africa! We had lots to catch up on), napped, read, and rested. It's nice to have days like that sometimes! Although I did feel a bit lazy. But I guess we need that every once in awhile.
Food:
Morning: banana/papaya juice
Afternoon: spaghetti + mango
Night: lagostinos + veduras (no rice) + wonton soup + lemonade
Monday
Crazy quick day back at the office. Trying really hard to fix my posture so that my back gets better... had another physical therapy session and I think they are finally getting to the root of the problem - my shoulder. Therapy was a lot more painful today but I think it's improving!
Workout:
Contemporary class (1hr)
mostly rehersing for the upcoming show, so not too much exercise. I was hoping to take Jazz after but it was cancelled :( Boo!
Food:
Morning/Afternoon: turkey, queso fresco, red pepper (raw), tomato + coffee + 1 bite-size white chocolate
Dinner: stir-fry with broccoli, mushrooms, zucchini, carrots, shrimp & pasta + 1 mango

Friday
No exercise today, it was a cheat day :( i guess that's appropriate for Friday...

Dinner: 2 glasses wine, tea, kamlu wantan, chicken/veggie chifa dish at Madam Tusan, wantans

Day 4
Thursday! Such a long week since its my 7-day work week after working the weekend...can't wait to veg this weekend by the pool... I have been more motivated to work out this week since I've been eating healthier and also working out more consistently. Thanks to Steff for helping me get to the gym today :)

Day 3
Another day at physical therapy - they finally started working on my right shoulder which seems to be the biggest trouble spot - mostly because of using a mouse at work constantly and being on the computer. They really worked my back out hard but I'm hoping it will start getting better soon :(

Day 2
So i didn't make it to the gym today as I promised myself (forgot my socks, then left work too late..) but I did push myself to work out anyway, and I'm pretty proud of myself since after 8pm, the workout does not usually happen...
Workout:
*30 minutes running, including 10 sets up stairs, singles & doubles
*10 burpees
Abs
*100 bicycles
*20 leg lifts
*20 superman lifts
*50 russian twists
Legs:
*10 round-house kicks
*10 circle kicks
*20 hip extensions with circles
I know it's not too much but I was proud of myself for doing that much at around 9:30pm :)

Day 1
Back starting at Day 1 since it's been so long since I've written. Since I got back from the US almost 2 months ago, I've been going to dance and also been doing physical therapy for my back. I also got a gym memberships at the JW Marriott but since my back has been injured, I haven't been going as much as I planned. I now plan to try and record what I'm eating as well so I can figure out what works best to get myself in the shape I want.
Today's workout:
Bike to/from Chorrillos (1 hour)
Contemporary Class (1 hour)
I also had physical therapy, and I decided to only take one class to see if it helps my back at all. The therapist said I can still dance no problem, but since I've been in therapy for weeks and it's still bothering me, I'm going to see if backing off of 2 class will help at all for now...although it breaks my heart to dance less :(
Food:
Morning: 2 apples + peanut butter
Mid-Morning: turkey, queso fresco, raw red pepper
Lunch: turkey, avacado & lime, queso fresco
Mid-Afternoon: 1 banana
Dinner: omlette made with 2 eggs, potato, onion, mushroom
